Our previously called Control Zones section was redesigned to improve monitoring and your overall experience. π Renaming it was only the first step!
Probably the most exciting change we present today is the addition of Geographic division geofences.
To create one, choose a Country, you can narrow the perimeter to the region, state, or district level. Radius geofences will continue to be available as the safe perimeters you already know and use. Both types will allow for device assignment, email notifications, and triggered actions on devices entering/leaving your safe areas (actions are available on select plans only). Geofence sizes, colors, and names remain your choice as well.
But hey! Thatβs not all. We added a few extra possibilities:
Select the user (or multiple users) who will receive the entry/exit email notifications. Only admins, all users, or a specific one, it's your choice. Only teammates with the available permissions will be granted user selection at this level.
When looking to assign devices, narrow down the list by type, operating system, and status. Or use the provided search bar to do so.
You can also rely on previously configured Labels to scan and designate.
The complete look of the section was redesigned for a sleeker feel but, most importantly, it was upgraded to a more user-friendly experience for you.
These new developments allow you to think of fleet location and tracking in new terms. Read more about this reformation on our blog. Or take a look for yourself on your panel.
