[macOS] 📍New update is producing Location issues
We have detected problems with macOS computers since their last system update. Prey is currently unable to receive their location due to system commands removed by Apple in their latest release.
What does this mean for your fleet?
Computers that update their OS to Sonoma 14.4, Monterey 12.7, and Ventura 13.6.5, won't send location data to Prey.
We are working on a solution as this message broadcasts, and we’ll keep you updated on the release of a new Prey for Computers client with the fix as soon as possible.
📎 With this information, you may decide the best course of action. In the meantime, not updating to the latest release can keep Prey’s location services running. We advise that you evaluate that option.
